A sentence stays on the site only if a reader can open the source or see that it was a dated observation.

When I write “I opened”, I mean a page I loaded on 24 October 2026 in one desktop browser. I do not turn that into “it always works”. When I write “PCMag reported”, I did not repeat the test myself.

How a claim is labeled
- Store or publisher page: we can state it, with the date we looked.
- News article: we name the outlet and the date. We do not upgrade it to a Rockstar announcement.
- Our own page load: we name the day and what the screen did. We do not guess the next day.
- One undated repost: we leave it out.
Who checks, and what was not tested
The public byline is the GTA Vice City Online Editorial Desk, an organizational label rather than a claimed named expert or a claim of several human reviewers. Research compilation and writing may use AI assistance. The original research recorded one macOS 26.7.1 x86_64 / Chromium 154 session; screenshots support menu and gate observations, not full missions or safety certification. This review separately checks rendered pages in Chromium.
No Windows VC:MP clean install, phone gameplay, controller mission, browser save import/export, malware scan or independent legal opinion is claimed. Store and project documentation supports those sections. Errors are corrected in updates; a later successful menu check does not prove all controls and missions work.
Corrections go to [email protected]. A fixed fact is also a line on updates.
Questions
What if a price changes?
The page should say the date and the region. A later price does not make the old snapshot a lie. It means the page needs an update line.
Do you use reader comments as facts?
No. A forum claim without a store page or a paper stays out, or it is labeled as unconfirmed and then it usually stays out anyway.
