Roleplay
Check the roleplay platform first
A server named after Vice City may be a GTA V roleplay community. The name does not mean you are loading the 2002 game.

I opened FiveM and RAGE Multiplayer’s own sites. Both say you need GTA V. Neither claims to launch the 2002 Vice City executable. When a Discord uses “Vice City” in a GTA V server name, I treat it as a theme, not as VC:MP.

Which platform is which
| Platform | Game it needs | Vice City 2002? |
|---|---|---|
| VC:MP | Original Vice City PC | Yes |
| FiveM | GTA V | No |
| RAGE Multiplayer | GTA V | No |
| SA-MP / open.mp | GTA San Andreas PC | No |
| GTA Online | GTA V family; standalone on current consoles | No |
Wikipedia notes that Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the company behind FiveM, in August 2023. That acquisition still does not make FiveM a Vice City product. For the 2002 map, stay on VC:MP setup.
Roleplay servers are third-party. A launcher that is not fivem.net, rage.mp, or vc-mp.org is outside the limited documentation review here; no downloaded binary has been security-audited. Read safety before you run an unknown installer.

Questions
Does FiveM run Vice City?
FiveM is a GTA V multiplayer framework. Its site says you need GTA V. It is not a Vice City client.
Are server lists stable enough to copy here?
No. Populations and names change. This page explains the platforms and does not rank communities.
